With priority access to the Medpoint team of family physicians and nurse practitioners, your employees obtain timely essential healthcare services at the first point of contact in the healthcare system. It focuses on promoting health, preventing illness and providing initial care for acute conditions. Primary care includes services such as vaccinations, screenings, treatment of common illnesses, health education and referrals to specialists if needed. Primary care plays an important role in maintaining overall health and well-being. Our navigator’s goal is to provide daily access to your employees however we guarantee a maximum wait of only 3 business days.

Specialists and Diagnostic Referrals

Medpoint family physicians and nurse practitioners will generate a specialist referral if the condition requires expertise. Current wait times are over 2+ years for some specialists, with over 15 specialists onsite we can reduce wait times down to 1 month, in some instances. To help determine the underlying cause of symptoms, a diagnosis referral may be sent which can include blood work, imaging, biopsies and more. The results can help accurately diagnose and develop treatment plans. Our navigator team will triage the system to find quicker appointment times for your employees.

This is a comprehensive and intricate approach to managing the health and well-being of individuals. The coordination among various providers, specialists and support services addresses the complexity of the conditions and circumstances. The goal of complex care is to provide personalized and integrated care plans that improve health outcomes and quality of life for individuals facing health challenges. Our partnerships with Top ranked US hospitals and private health navigation services help employers find options that are either not offered or very difficult to access in Ontario. Note that there are extra charges for this service.
