Please see the following note from our Medical Director Sylvia Murchison below...

As we navigate the uncertainty of COVID-19, the health and wellness of our patients and community remain our top priority.  When the Government of Ontario declared a State of Emergency on March17th, Medpoint took immediate measures to move essential patient care services to both on-demand and scheduled virtual visits. Thousands of requests for assessment, testing, treatment, vaccinations, referrals, medication renewal and mental health support were handled remotely. In-person visits for essential primary care services were executed with the utmost care for patient and staff safety. We are extremely proud of how our health care team has risen to this challenge and we are grateful for the trust our patients have placed in us.

Now, with a revised Directive No.2 issued by Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health on May 26th, we are ready for the phase-in of Medpoint deferred and non-essential services beginning on June 2nd.

We know the re-opening of our province is for many is a welcome sign.  However, we also recognize that for others, there may be considerable anxiety about venturing out into this “new normal”. Our staff and physicians want you to know that your health and safety is remains at the forefront of our efforts. Please take some time to read about the many ways we plan to welcome you back safely.
