Meet Rick

My name is Rick Corin and I wanted to tell you about my Medpoint experience.

In the spring my wife arranged for me to join Medpoint and their medically integrated fitness program as a birthday present.

Well, I had my 3 hour medical and finished my sessions with my kinesiologist trainer Kate. I lost 30 lbs and 11.4 % body fat!

Just got back from my annual visit to my cardiologist. At first he didn’t recognize me and had to pause while looking at my chart. He said “the Richard Corin I saw in Nov 2007 was a 252 lb person. Either you are someone new, or something dramatic has happened to you. Are you feeling alright?” I replied “I feel outstanding!”

I told him what had happened to me since the first of April and he had to shake my hand with a firm “congratulations!” He said I should be the poster boy for getting healthy. He was quite happy with my state of health and said to keep it going as he is looking forward to see me again next year. Once again, thanks to the Medpoint staff for all of their help and support.


Meet Diane

My name is Diane Evans and I want to tell you something about Medpoint. I heard the owner Alex Hanham talking about me on the radio saying that I lost 18 lbs and was enjoying shopping for new clothes.

That is not entirely true. I have lost 28 pounds and am LOVING shopping for new clothes.

Meet Scott

A little over a year ago, I completed my Comprehensive Medical Assessment at Medpoint and joined Medpoint’s Executive Membership Program at the recommendation of a client of mine and I am really glad I took their advice. I went in thinking I would like to get an assessment of my current health picture. I was 35 years old and had not seen a doctor for over 10 years. During that 10 years I had gained 30 pounds and had lots of bad habits when came to eating and exercising. I have a growing young family and entertain a lot for my job which became an excuse for not looking after myself.

After completing my Comprehensive Medical Assessment I sat down with the Medical staff, Nutritionist, and Personal Fitness teams to review my results. Each one of them made sure I understood the results and offered help and suggestions for improvement.

They helped to customize a fitness and nutrition program tailored specifically to me. This included tips on how to make better choices when eating out, and creating a exercise program that fit my busy schedule.

I am pleased to report, with the help of the Medpoint team I am much better equipped to make educated decisions on what I eat at home and on the road and how to exercise properly. I have shed 30 lbs and have had the pleasure of shopping for all new clothes. Along the way I have developed a passion for running and have recently completed my first Half Marathon with plans on completing another in a few weeks.

Meet Tammy – After only two months!

After making a complete lifestyle change with medically integrated exercise and customized nutrition, Tammy dramatically reduced her body fat while increasing her overall fitness levels. After achieving her initials goals, Tammy comfortably completed her first duathlon in 2010!

Meet Wayne

My name is Wayne Goldstein and I want to tell you about my Medpoint experience. My wife and I went to Medpoint about a year ago and had a 3 hour comprehensive medical. While overall our results were good, there was definitely some room for improvement for both of us. We made the decision to take a proactive approach to our health and joined the Medpoint Fitness program.

Well the results were amazing! I now look and feel like I did 20 years ago and Diane looks like dynamite! My curling game has even improved since my core has strengthened considerably.
